The Concept

A new fever.

Taco Fever isn't Mexican. It isn't Ghanaian. It's the flavor of the African diaspora coming home — Santorini and Kingston, Kinshasa and Oaxaca, Accra and Havana — every path finding its way back to a warm corn tortilla.

Three tacos. Three diaspora paths. Each finding its way back to the fever.

Every element is made in-house. Nixtamalized corn tortillas pressed to order. Charcoal fires kept live from open to close. Sauces built from West African spice, Caribbean scotch bonnet, Aegean herb and Oaxacan technique — the many paths of the diaspora on one plate.

The rule is short: no pork, halal-friendly, seasonal, honest. Everything else is craft. A taqueria built for a continent that has never had one — and won't settle for less than the best.

The Menu

Three signatures.

The menu is deliberately small. Three tacos. Each one a category we won't compromise on — the meat, the sea, and the forest. Rotating specials appear when the season and the market conspire.

Nº 01 The Aegean · Halal · No Pork

Santorini

Chargrilled halal chicken marinated in oregano, garlic and West African black pepper, whipped feta-tzatziki, kalamata olive, cucumber, red onion, cherry tomato, fresh dill, warm corn tortilla. Bright, herbal, sunlit. The taco of the Mediterranean diaspora.

Nº 02 The Sea · Halal

Tacos del Mar

Chargrilled tiger prawn, chipotle-lime crema, pickled red cabbage slaw, pico de gallo, fresh cilantro, warm corn tortilla. Bright, warm, dangerous. A taco with a tide inside it — the Atlantic crossing on a plate.

Signature
Nº 03 The Jerk · Vegetarian

El Kingston

Jerk-marinated oyster mushrooms charred over open coals, scotch-bonnet crema, charred corn, crispy shallot, cilantro, warm corn tortilla. Smoky, deep, alive with heat. The taco of the Caribbean diaspora — where jerk found the forest.

The Master Chef

A chef with royalty in his hands.

HRM Solomon Mwamba Wa Ngoy is a chef of royal Ghanaian and Congolese lineage — a son of two kingdoms and the diaspora in between. Raised across the diaspora, he returned to his homeland, Ghana, to fully engage with his roots — the culture, the people, the fires. His cooking has been called "a thesis on flavour written on your tongue."

Self-taught and dangerously obsessed with the way three continents meet on a single tortilla, he cooks Mexican, Ghanaian, Caribbean and Aegean all at once — and asks you to reconsider what a taco can be. Berbere, scotch bonnet, egusi, achiote, tzatziki, jerk, coconut. The result is a menu that reads short and eats large — the kind of restaurant a city discovers first, and the world discovers second.

Private & Bespoke

VIP catering, by special request.

Beyond the taqueria, Taco Fever caters privately for those who want the fever without the room. Chef Solomon and a small brigade travel to your residence, event, or embassy — building a menu around the room, the palate, and the occasion.
